In this episode we take a look at the S curve or sigmoid shape of the neck bones in the horse. This shape is very important for force transfer and the suspension of the head and neck. When we ride or work with our horses we want to aim to maintain this lovely S shape without overly compressing it or flattening it out, so it can continue to work effectively and efficiently when the horse is moving.
