The competitive horse world
The horse world is an incredibly competitive place, let’s be real life is just one big competition, but let’s keep this horse themed!
And not just in the literal competition scene but in all aspects.
Who has:
- the better horse,
- the better property,
- the better equipment
- who has the best coach.
- In the professional industry who offers the best services, the best price…
With social media this is constantly thrown in our faces and as someone who is not competitive by nature I can find it incredibly overwhelming.
There’s always a sense of not doing enough, not being good enough and also because of how my non competitive nature works, when I see someone offer something or do something I was planning to do I think oh well I better not do it then, maybe it’s a sense of not wanting to step on anybody’s toes? Or worrying it won’t be as good as theirs? I need to really push myself to go well I’ll do it too but maybe I’ll do it better or differently.
Competition is definitely healthy but when it doesn’t come naturally it feels jarring to instil (I’m also super turned off by super competitive people).
Does anyone else relate to this?
Or any tips?
